Introduction
Mace is a valuable spice that is derived from the lacy covering of the nutmeg seed. Mace carries the same essential oils as nutmeg but a much different texture, taste and phytochemical composition.

Use
Mace is a wonderful way to enjoy the benefits of nutmeg with a much more precise and delicate taste. Can be sprinkled onto food or made into drinks such as eggnog.

Mace is the connoisseur's fraction of the Myristica fragans tree, oily and pungent without the mess that the nutmeg seed can bring with it. It is a beautiful orange-red color with a form similar to a dried rose petal.
