Cut & sifted root

Goldenseal is an extremely potent & bitter herb, even the lovers of the bitter cacao bean may find the taste unpalatable, so it is recommended to take goldenseal by capsules. The cut & sifted root that we offer is indeed small enough to fit into capsules, we recommend 1 capsules per day for general health & gut support. High doses are not recommended.

Goldenseal is a very powerful herb when it comes to gut health, intestinal parasites, & candida overgrowth symptoms. It has a strong drying effect on excess mucous, especially the lungs, while displaying anti-inflammatory & anti-depressant effects. It can be taken as a general health tonic and is of vital support in cases of intestinal parasites & invaders.

Goldenseal is not recommended while pregnant, breastfeeding, or for small children. Goldenseal is oxytocic, meaning it can stimulate uterine contractions & the alkaloids found within the root can also be passed from mother to child while pregnant or breastfeeding.
