This can alter the strength or toxicity of many herbs and medications so please talk to your doctor and be educated before utilizing this herb.

The Grapefruit is a mysterious and delicious gift from the Earth and is still considered one of the 7 wonders of Barbados. It's name is derived not from it's taste, but rather from how the fruit grows clustering together like that of grapes.

Grapefruit peel, and to a lesser extend the fruit itself inhibit enzymes in the body responsible for breaking down certain nutrients and chemicals. Some herbs, supplements and medications might interact in unexpected ways when combined with grapefruit peel so please speak to your doctor before use, especially if you are currently taking any other herbs, supplements or medications.
