Introduction
Stinging nettle is a plant with an intimate history with humans, used as food, medicine, and fiber. The plant is coated with tiny hollow hairs, also known as trichomes, which serve as hypodermic needles when they come in contact with skin, injecting into the skin histamine, serotonin, acetylcholine, and pro-inflammatory compounds.

Use
Nettle leaf is best prepared as an infusion or directly consumed. Nettles are very nourishing, reduce inflammation, and support many different bodily organs. Recommended dosage is 1-2 teaspoons per 2-3 cups of water.
