Ginseng is a stand alone tonic, possessing attributes linked throughout the entire body, which operates on the brain's master glands, providing both a tonic & stimulative effect throughout the central nervous system.
Ginseng is typically consumed whole or made into a soup or thick tea. The whole root can be heated in the oven for a few minutes and then cut with a knife when warm & pliable. The powder can be added to tea or consumed straight. Ginseng has a traditional use in much of Asia as a stimulant, aphrodisiac, performance enhancer, & panacea (cure-all).
Ginseng is a widely respected herb that strengthens the body and greatly improves resolve, helping one overcome stress and fatigue. White ginseng is more Yin or nourishing. Red ginseng is more Yang or stimulating/consuming.
Please be cautious with your use of Ginseng. It is recommended to not take Ginseng every day, but rather in week long cycles of on & off usage.
