Turmeric, a relative to the Ginger family, is native to India and is quite the amazing health tonic, believed to invigorate the blood and has in recent times been shown to improve the immune system, relax inflamed joints and muscles, has anti-oxidant potential, and improves brain function while providing energy and a positive sense of well-being.
Extract of Curcuma longa, standardized for 95% Curcuminoids
Recommended amount per dose is 250-500 mg, or a half to full sized capsule. Works best with black pepper and milk.
Turmeric and it's active constituents are very beneficial for nearly everyone and it's active constituents, the curciminoids have been subject to much scientific research regarding their therapeutic and healing properties. Extracts are common, however with all herbs and especially turmeric, the whole plant is desired to achieve the most benefits. We recommend mixing turmeric powder with the extract for the most benefit.
Too much curcumin can cause stomach discomforts and it should be avoided in those who are trying to get pregnant or are currently pregnant. Please speak to your doctor before deciding to use curcumin frequently or in large doses.
Do not consume without knowing an accurate dosage. A milligram scale is highly recommended.
