Red clover is an herb belonging to the bean family, Fabaceae. It has a traditional use in India as a deobstruent, antispasmodic, expectorant, sedative, anti-inflammatory and antidermatosis agent. Red clover is sweet tasting, and can also make an enjoyable smoke.

Red clover makes a tasty addition to herbal teas and can also be smoked, helping to alleviate coughs. Both preparations are mild but are easy on the palate and mildly relaxing, calming the fight or flight response and supporting a healthy state of relaxation. Recommended dosage is 1-2 teaspoons per serving.
Red clover is in general a calming herb, and has been used as a tonic to support the nerves. It is commonly used today as a flavoring and for its aesthetic purposes in flowering teas. Some find smoking the herb to be quite relaxing, and one of the more enjoyable smoking herbs due to taste.
