Dimethylethanolamine (DMAE) is structurally related to and behaves much the same as choline, where it is utilized in the body for the biosynthesis of phosphatidylcholine. DMAE has antioxidant and and anti-aging effects, and has been linked to the reduction of the buildup of beta-amyloid plaque in the brain.
Recommended amount per dose is 50-500 mg per day.
