Calea zacatechichi is a species of flowering plant in the aster family, Asteraceae. It is native to Mexico and Central America, where it has been traditionally used to induce divinatory dreams due to its properties as an oneirogen, or dream inducer.

Calea zacatechichi is a novel herb most known for its use as a dream enhancing agent. It is not known how the herb works, and potentially has a unique property that is not found in other herbs associated with dreaming. As calea is effective when smoked, mugwort and blue lotus come to mind as complimentary additions for a night time dream blend.
