It is recommended that this formulation is taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, 30 minutes before a meal.

Mucuna pruriens is one of the best foods available for the fortification of the entire body. It increases motivation, mental capacity, & endurance. Its unique nutrient profile promotes optimal delivery of its l-dopa content into the brain for effortless conversion to dopamine, as it is the most closely-related precursor to this vital neurotransmitter. It is also possibly the best natural tool available for the promotion of human growth hormone levels, which has potent anti-aging and fat-burning effects.

Ashwagandha is a tonic adaptogen, often references as Indian ginseng and the king of Ayurvedic herbs. Ashwagandha is best when used daily, and has a long term effect that becomes stronger the more it is taken. These effects include the reduction of anxiety, increased motivation, protection of the brain, & nourishment of the sexual organs.

Kanna is the dried leaves & stems of the plant Sceletium tortuosum, when translated means 'something to chew'. Kanna has a long history of use as a stimulant, ceremonial inebriant, & social tool. Kanna has been smoked, used as a snuff, and chewed. Kanna causes a large amount of serotonin to be released & preserved, synergizing with the other herbs in this blend.

Kola nut is a traditional tonic herb native to Africa commonly chewed for its euphoric and energizing qualities and is traditionally used in a social setting, to restore vitality & reduce apetite. It is a highly regarded herb that is used in mystic practices and heralded as a religious object, often included in important ceremonies ranging from weddings to funerals. Kola nut contains a hefty amount of Caffeine, Theobromine, & Theophylline, providing a combined stimulant effect similar to a mixture of Guarana, Cacao, & Green Tea.

Carob is a sweet tasting chocolate substitute that has an excellent nutritional profile containing a hefty supply of Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, D, Calcium, Potassium, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Selenium, Fiber, & an Antioxidant count second to none. Carob has been used by the Egyptians as a food source as well as a dye for creating hieroglyphics.

Cacao is a rich source of vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants, & pleasure-inducing substances such as anandamide (cannabinoid-agonist cacao is the only food source), phenylethylamine (the love hormone), theobromine (natural stimulant), & MAO-inhibitors (which increase serotonin, endorphin, & dopamine levels). Cacao regulates & protects the heart, enhances circulation, increases stamina & endurance while providing the necessary conditions to promote an aphrodisiac effect. The theobromine in cacao raises dopamine levels & functions in a very similar way to caffeine with a more pronounced vasodilating action which increases blood flow to the brain & extremities. The vitamins and minerals contained in cacao play crucial roles in the co-factors needed to produce our hormones & neurotransmitters, while nourishing the body with the proper nutrients required to support a healthy, active life.

Chicory is a well known coffee substitute, containing similar tasting bitter compounds that stimulate the appetite & the digestive juices. Chicory is rich in vitamins & minerals and functions as a liver protecting agent.

Turmeric is a relative of the Ginger family, is native to India and is quite the amazing health tonic, invigorating the blood, improving the immune system, relaxing inflamed joints & muscles, providing immense anti-oxidant potential, and even improving brain function while enhancing energy and a positive sense of well-being.

Cinnamon functions as a central nervous system stimulant & mental enhancing nootropic herb. It contains a potent anti-oxidant & anti-inflammatory profile & is used to effectively lower blood pressure & blood sugar levels, maintaining a steady flow of energy that lasts throughout the day.

Ginger is a sweet & spicy aromatic herb with strong anti-inflammatory properties, functions as a natural painkiller, is a powerful anti-nausea tool, provides a number of anti-oxidants, enhances the immune system, improves nerve health, cognition, strengthens the heart, & improves ease of blood flow.

Nutmeg is a very special herb, in fresh whole or cut form much different than what one would find as a powdered spice on the shelves of their local supermarket. The flavor is that of a savory aromatic, rich & deep, thick & intoxicating. It has actions as an anti-cholinergic (m1/m4/5), modulating dopamine & endorphin release, acting as a potent aphrodisiac & mood enhancer. Nutmeg when consumed daily functions as an effective anti-diuretic & astringent, preserving bodily fluids making it invaluable for night sweats, urinary incontinence, & premature ejaculation. Nutmeg also has a relaxing effect, reducing blood pressure & improving the quality of sleep. In addition to its wide essential oil content, nutmeg contains cannabinoid type compounds stored in its fat.

Clove is a dried aromatic flower with a spicy, numbing taste. They have local anesthetic properties & when brewed into tea or chewed can decrease inflammation of the stomach, mouth & lungs, making them an excellent herb for those suffering from tooth pains, or bronchial/digestive inflammation.

Vanilla is one of the most exotic and delightful spices of them all. Native to the Amazon Rainforests, the bean pod is used as a spice and a flavor enhancer for chocolate, coffee, and all manners of foods. Vanilla is the second most expensive spice by weight, only surpassed by Saffron.
