Introduction
Phellodendron amurense is a large tree in the Rutaceae family whose bark has been used in the Traditional Chinese system of Medicine for stiff neck, headache, bacterial infections, sickness, & to support the liver. In addition to the traditional uses, phellodendron bark also has shown remarkable efficacy in relaxing the body & mind, reducing both anxiety & pain.

Use
1-2 teaspoons of bark or 3-6 grams are recommended brewed in tea for general anti-anxiety, muscle relaxing, & pain relieving effects. Phellodendron combines excellently with Magnolia bark, Corydalis yanhusuo, & other sedatives & pain relievers.

Phellodendron is an incredibly useful herb for herbalists the world over, providing a mixed sedative & analgesic effect.
