Introduction
Blue cohosh is a member of the Berberidaceae family, home to medicinal herbs such as goldenseal, barberry, coptis, and phellodendron. It is rich in bioactive compounds, and was traditionally used by the Native Americans as a form of birth control, and is used in modern times to support general Women's health, including the paradoxical ability to also support a healthy birthing process.

Summary
Blue cohosh is a commonly used herb to support Women's health, it has hormone stimulating qualities and is reported to be able to prevent pregnancy when taken in large doses, and can also regulate the mood and emotional states of being during times of need, especially for women and their related hormonal complaints.
