Motherwort is a very healthy herb that has an affinity for the heart, modern science is proving this with studies showing that the herb has a blocking type effect on beta adrenergic receptors, which both reduces anxiety and supports the heart. Motherwort also antagonizes the effects of caffeine, helping one find a calmer and more mellow state of mind. The herb makes an enjoyable smoke, and the calming and heart supportive benefits are also carried through this method of consumption.
