Also known as
Trans-Ferulic acid, 4-Hydroxy-3-methoxycinnamic acid, Trans-4-Hydroxy-3-methoxycinnamic acid
Ferulic acid is one of the most powerful known antioxidants found in nature. It is present in plant cell walls, being a constituent of lignin and bran, being more commonly found in seeds, grains, nuts, and beans where it is believed to play a role in preventing fungal disease states. Ferulic acid is currently being used as a broad range antioxidant, as a topical to protect the skin from sunburn, as a potent anti-inflammatory (5-LOX/COX enzyme inhibition), and to support a healthy memory and cognitive function. The pharmacology of Ferulic acid also includes NMDA antagonism and serotonergic activity.

Recommended amount per dose is 250-500 mg, or 1/2 to a full single size '00' capsule. Do not consume without an accurate mg scale.
Ferulic acid (FA) is one of the most effective and ubiquitous antioxidants present in the human diet, being linked to non steroidal anti-inflammatory properties, a reduction of oxidative stress, and antidepressive-like effects. Ferulic acid promotes neuroplasticity, neurogenesis as well as cell survival, and can potentiate the effects of other antioxidants to a significant degree.
Do not consume without knowing an accurate dosage. A milligram scale is highly recommended.
