L-Tetrahydropalmatine, more commonly known as L-THP, is an isolate that can be found in herbs of the Corydalis and Stephania families of plants, both of which are utilized in Tradtional Chinese Medicine as non narcotic pain relievers. L-THP itself is used clinically in Chinese hospitals to relieve pain and for is sedative and anesthetic properties.
Extract of Stephania japonica, standardized to a 98% L-Tetrahydropalmatine content.
Recommended amount per dose is 50-100 mg, or 1/10th to a 1/5th size '00' capsule.
L-Tetrahydropalmatine is a very powerful herbal isolate, closer to a true medicinal than an herb. The pharmacology is that of a blocker of specific dopamine subtypes, inhibiting pain responses mediated by this system and causing an activation of endorphin system.. In addition to these actions, L-THP has shown promise in assisting with addiction, behaving as a non habit forming, non narcotic pain reliever and sedative.
L-THP has a dose dependent response curve that can be dangerous in high amounts. Do not consume without proper measuring using a mg scale (.000). Additionally, L-THP may be somewhat liver heavy, so it is not recommended to take higher than or more recommended than often dosages, and it is highly advised to check in with your doctor for regular liver panels. It is not recommended to consume this product without the supervision of your doctor or certified health care practitioner. Do not use while driving or operating heavy machinery. Can cause rapid loss of consciousness.
