Used in cooking, added to meals and condiments, or eaten directly. Recommended to combine with Black pepper to improve the absorption of the healing curciminoids found in the yellow root.
Turmeric and it's active constituents are very beneficial for nearly everyone and it's active constituents, the curciminoids have been subject to much scientific research regarding their therapeutic and healing properties. Extracts are common, however with all herbs and especially Turmeric, the whole plant is desired to achieve the most benefits.
